The tides all along the coast are extremely strong. Galveston is flooding in the Strand area and some others. I always worry about those one story homes to the west of WalMart. They will flood again maybe but I sure hope not.

@West-Tex : Apparently, the pier owner cut that specific section intentionally to prevent more widespread damage. Hope that works!
