@West-Tex : I think it we will have to worry more about the possibility of flooding rain rather than wind. But too soon to tell. Always good to be prepared this time of year. Just in case.

Out of curiosity, can anyone attest to how pinehurst has fared in past flooding events?

Beta has formed a new circulation center over 100 miles NE of earlier one. Forecast can change quite a bit with next update at 10.

@West-Tex : We are way west of Bolivar. DH just finished the damage to the bulkheads and land last weekend. We are headed up tomorrow to grab some things in the storage. Man, this is going to be one expensive year.
