I swore they were going to pick potato leek. Already washed and sliced the leeks! Do you know how long that takes? Maybe later this week. I should have said there'd be bacon. 🤣🤣🤣

We are making potato soup with bacon and shredded cheese.

@brightlights : Oh my gosh! Any of those sound delicious. I just recently had potato leek soup. And I really been craving split pea soup.

@brightlights : I love it but if i make split pea & ham I have to eat it all myself. Hubbie doesnt do green!😄

Made a savory bread pudding tonight. Sourdough bread, sautéed mushrooms and leeks. Mix with bread. Heavy cream, eggs, fresh thyme, parsley, Parmesan and Guyre (sp) cheese. Pour over bread/mushroom leek mixture. Let sit for 30 minutes. Bake 40 minutes. My new taste treat.
