I smoked from probably 16 to 40....I gave it up because I had always promised myself I wouldn't smoke past that age....My brand was Marlboro Reds in my teens, then shifting to 100 lights in my mid 20s and then when prices started going up and I moved out here I found the "Smoke Shop"(American Indian Store) on 1960 and switches to a brand they had called "USA Gold".....Was just as good at a fraction of the price...Stayed with those until I eventually quit....I enjoyed my "smoking years", GOOD TIMES!....With that said, no way in hell I'd pay the price for cigarettes that they are charging today!....

I smoked from 1985 until 2005. It was damn hard to stop but glad I did.

Does anyone remember these cigarettes? Lemon Twist .... I smoked them in junior high school. When my mother caught me, I told her it was because I was curious if they tasted like lemons. I don't know if she believed me or not, but my bags were searched every day after that ....

@justanirishgirl :If that would have happened to me I'd have quit much sooner....Back when I was smoking every day started with a cigarette and a cup of coffee, in that order.....

My dh's mom…..used to smoke while showering! She would stick that one arm out of shower curtain. Happy to say…she no longer smokes.

@SnoopSister :Nope...I didn't have time for the morning paper, unless it was the weekend...I usually read the paper in the evening after a busy day was wound down....
