I am very sorry to hear of your rough year. We all know it happens but that does not make it any easier. Especially the aunt, who was one of the last people you would have expected to lose. I will say a prayer for you.

I am VERY fortunate that I still have both my parents - both at age 90! I don't know when I will lose them, but I know it is not too far off. And when they are gone, I will be the oldest survivor in my immediate family (small family). Certainly a humbling thought.

@cador : As @niceguy said, being the oldest survivor is a burden upon the recipient. Brings a paternal/maternal instinct. Going through it for two years now.Getting my sons ready for it now.

I'm sorry for the loss of your wonderful aunt. May you and your family find peace.

WOW. I am so sorry for ALL of the loses you have had. You sound like you are handling things well and I hope you can keep strong and go forward. Brighter days ARE ahead.
