Well... at least we made more than 20pts today.

Patriots have been successful because Brady had so many passing options. Texans have a really good QB. He just needs more options to move the ball down field.

Texans played well in the first half...I was impressed with the Offensive Line's protection of Watson...But they totally went south in the second half...Didn't play smart football again IMO....For example, the pass was working well in the first half, it was obvious that the Steelers were focused on taking away the run...So, what did the Texans do in the second half?...Did they take what the Steelers were giving?...No way, that's too easy....They tried to FORCE the run and went 3-and-out time and time again as the Steelers were putting up a brick wall...This leads to a tired Texans defense spending too much time on the field...Then there was the breakdown of that O-Line protection again, totally opposite the first half...Steelers adjustments?...Could have been....But my question is, where is your short passing game to counter that hard rush?...Designed roll-outs?...Play-action passes?....Anything other than getting your run stuffed or QB sacked?...I'm wondering if Bill O'Brien the GM will be having a talk with Bill O'Brien the Head Coach about his 0-3 start tomorrow....Hope he strikes some fear in himself so the Texans can get a win soon...

@TexanFan1 : No. I'm talking about why the Patriots have had success as an organization, which Brady played a big role as QB, but he also had a lot of options in choosing who would run the ball. At one time I counted like 5 or 6 guys. Texans, as an organization, have always had/used 1-3 guys.

But my question is, where is your short passing game to counter that hard rush?...Designed roll-outs?...Play-action passes?..

@EddyFree : They sent him packing along with several potential draft picks.

@eighteen : ah, got it! We need to get rid of the HC this year. We have talent, just need a coach.

@eighteen :

If you're talking about Hopkins, I would agree if their receivers were dropping passes or running bad routes...But short passing plays aren't being called, at least not as a method to slow down the rush...Some draw plays would be effective too...
