Just finished. I will say I probably would not have seen this production had it not been available through Disney+, and only watched because of all the conversation surrounding it. I thought Hamilton (the main character) was Black. There was some article, I thought, about the character being Black and controversy surrounding it. Other than that, I wasn't sure what to expect. I liked it. I thought it was decent, very informative, and appeals to an audience that otherwise might not be interested in this particular genre of arts.Could you imagine if Hilary Clinton, as runner-up in the presidential election, became Trumps VP?

We thought it was fantastic! Then again, DD and I knew most of the songs. Daveed was amazing! Not sure I would have wanted to watch (live or otherwise) with any other cast than the original. Bravo!!
