I'd be terrified to go anywhere near there-even if the murders are happening elsewhere. It is just so creepy.

@West-Tex :
I think I will stay home or the beach where nothing happens there. If I could convince my son to go, I'd be packing!

And the police insist it's not a serial killer? I'm convinced this person is a LEO or LEO adjacent. It's possible that all the cases are unrelated, but that's too much of a coincidence.

@TwinA : That thought never occurred to me, but not the craziest concept. It's always the last person you'd suspect.

@eighteen :
It really is! It might be a person who knows the ins and outs of how investigations are carried out, how evidence is gathered and analyzed, etc. Framing them as drownings would destroy a lot of the evidence.

Maybe I just watch too many true crime shows and there isn't a serial killer 😬 I just hope the city puts safety measures in place, like cameras. This is getting scary 😢

Well in the 1970's Houston PD had a special location on Buffalo Bayou where some officers would take people they arrested and give them "special treatment". Dark days.

@susanbanthony : Yep. Then there was the killing of Jose Torres. HPD started the "The Chicano Squad" around 1979. My Dad was HPD during the 60's - 80's.

There's a documentary about the "The Chicano Squad". You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video or Hulu.
