Tell us a bit about your business. What does your business offer and how long have you been around? The
smiling faces and busy hands behind Kopy Depot in Humble are members of
the Quinnett Family.They have been offering full-service personal and
professional printing services for the past 52 years.
How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
At
sixteen, Robert started his printing career at Texas Printing and then
moved to Carroll Printing. He and JoAnn started their own printing
business in 1970 in their garage. Gradually expanding into a
building
behind the house and now located in Humble at 1712 First Street, Ste C.
This conveniently located strip center near the intersection of Wilson
Road and FM 1960 Business can handle all your local
printing needs.
Tell us a couple of things you are proud of about your business.Kopy
Depot is bursting with pride that they have raised a family of printers
and get to share their love of serving the community through print
together. Hard work, customer service, competitive pricing and a wide
array of marketing materials from business cards, banners, postcards ,
vinyl decals and more have earned them a loyal customer base that they
consider friends. Being a family-owned, family-run part of this growing
community makes them proud and they invite you to call or stop by.
How do you see your business growing and improving in the future?The
printing industry has evolved drastically over the years and the
internet completely changed the face of their business. Offering
face-to-face or even over the phone consultations allows timely
response, customization and production. Moving forward, car decals and
magnets have been trending, along with the creative uses of Banners for
personal and professional impact signage. The North Houston area
continues to grow and the influx of business and families keeps Kopy
Depot thriving.
Tell us about yourselves as business owners.
As
the patriarch and matriarch of Kopy Depot, Robert and JoAnn balance
work by playing 42 (card game) with friends. Tuesday nights is for
family dinners and don't forget their little smiling dog, Tyson. Because
they love what they do, there are no plans for these two to ever
retire. And this family is putting YOU first.
