What's that weird chemical smell outside? It's really strong this morning. I have been smelling it regularly in the mornings and at night for at least a week, if not longer. It makes my throat burn a little bit. This isn't a natural gas leak smell. I'm in Pinehurst in the general area behind the school.

@LuGar So that's why I keep seeing trails of dead birds and wilted flowers. Lol

@BusyMommy
Since you're in my general area, go outside tonight around 8:00 and let me know if you smell anything. That's when I let my dog out and I have been smelling it then, as well as in the mornings around 7:00.

I have been having an allergy attack for almost 2 weeks, so my smeller just may be more sensitive to odors right now. It doesn't smell like rotted, mildewed flood debris, though.

That’s the smell of refineries in Pasedena- and y’all were worried about the toxins in the aerial spraying

@Jpgurl
That was my first thought. The wind is coming from the right direction for that, but it seems too strong to have traveled from that far away.

I have smelt the same odor almost like a gas leak yet my husband couldn't smell a thing then our neighbor called us around 7:30 and asked for us to come out and see if we smelt gas. He had been outside working in the yard. We are in Kingwood Glen Manor (corner w Lake Houston and Kings park). Very coincidental. It wasn't a constant odor just occasionally with the breeze.
