whats up with the bright orange stickers on signs

have you noticed them on signs like the ones at will clayton and wlhp ? There are bright orange stickers, usually placed where the phone numbers or contact info on the sign is located. is that harris county out there placing notices of violation or ??

FWIW on the way into crosby This morning i noticed a clearing with multiple signs in it, some had the stickers and some did not. the ones that had the stickers were taller than the others, so my presumption is that if they have an orange sticker they are taller than harris county ordinances allow.

But those signs have been there for a while now. Why try to enforce that now?

I was wondering the same thing the other day. They might be widening WLHP and so they plan on moving the signs? Idk

The signs on the road property which are not permitted properly are in violation and must be removed. They are finally enforcing.

I noticed them as well. I figured the owners of the property were going to do something with that corner so they were giving the sign owners notice.

they ticketed the ones along the beltway as well.

they don't seem to have tagged the ones on private property

Problem is as soon as they are taken down new ones appear until there are hefty fines and real enforcement it will continue. I think the Oaks HOA use to pay people to bring the signs in if there was an address/phone # on them

WLHP dips in and out of Houston city limits. Must be a new city inspector that's wants to show his stuff.

Skoolie why thumbs down? Harris county is more lax(or lazy?) and has less rules than the City of Houston. I am just stating facts and you thumb me really??????
