Constable Deputies assisted the Atascocita Fire Department in safely removing the 17 month old child that was locked in a vehicle.

Some people have no sense at all. Even an animal will place their young in a safe place while they go hunt for food.

What I heard from someone was the parent got out of the car and forgot the key inside. They were getting the kid next and the doors were locked.

Doesn't appear to be leaving them in there while going to the store.

It might have been accidental.. my sister once locked herself out of the car at a gas station with the grandkids in the car. She, obviously. Freaked out. Pop-a-lock came immediately and unlocked car for free. They do this at no charge when a child is locked in a car. Does Atascocita have pop-a-lock service?
