I'm sorry that your son and family are going through this, but I'm glad (as he probably will be when he grows up a bit), that it ended this way and not tragically. For him or any other people on that road during that time. Wishing you and him the best. Hard life lessons hopefully make us better in the long run.

I frequently have people pull up beside me and egg me for a race, often in congested rush hour traffic.

I want to publicly apologize for my comment. I have deleted it. I misunderstood the news article and thought that he was the one that law enforcement found with drugs. I am very sorry. It was careless and thoughtless.

Young 'uns don't think about the consequences. Back in the day, a couple of teens were drag racing down a two lane road in our neighborhood...they went over a very small rise in the road...the one on the wrong side of the road went airborne and hit another car head on in the windshield. The driver of the other car died. Difficult thing to have to live with.
