This is futurecast for this afternoon. Shows us mostly staying in between the bands. It should all clear up by late Wednesday, then cool weather is on the way!
We should be fine unless we get caught under a heavy band for extended time, which seems unlikely as the storm weakens.

The tides all along the coast are extremely strong. Galveston is flooding in the Strand area and some others. I always worry about those one story homes to the west of WalMart. They will flood again maybe but I sure hope not.
