@ladybeachbum: I really am. Traffic is bad here but i can drive at non peak times since I no longer work. I Sat on my patio this morning and watched squirrels play chase in our large oak tree. A Dove stopped by along with a cardinal, ducks., and canadian geese. An egret swooped overhead. Main thing that I don't miss is all of the crazy that was constantly going on in The Groves. Someone's car was stolen a few nights ago. Several cars were rifled through. Our new neighborhood is gated except for one entrance. That entrance has a night security guard posted at the entrance. It does cut down on a lot of nonsense

@RajunCajun : My neighborhood doesn't have that much crazy but then, the last day or two a couple of cars were hit near my friend. He keeps his car in the garage like it is supposed to be so I wasn't worried but he's older and I sure hope it doesn't get started for break ins of the houses. I'm not sure there is a totally safe place around here.
These kids need to be made to work to pay back what they steal or stay in jail. We might need to start neighborhood patrols. Back in the 80's we had a volunteer watch at night. That stopped all the crazy.
