My only reason to get in that mess would be to get to my grandchildren in an emergency.

@chasinghosts : Where do the grandkids live? I've lived here forever, since 1982, and may know a way to tell you.

@Sammee : Between the big Trailer Park and the Shell Station on 1960. My GD attends Huffman Elementary school. I live on the far end of Atascocita. Between Wilson and Will Clayton by the ball fields & HCSO Training Center.

Alternate routes?? Sure, I'll just take the ferry to Huffman!

@chasinghosts : If 1960 is not an option, you could go 59 north to 99 east, then exit 2100 and go south to Huffman. It's a farther distance than going down 1960, but would be the best way to get to Huffman in a pickle.

A longer way would be Beltway 8 southeast to 90 east, exit 2100 and go north to Huffman.

I don't think 1960 will be bad enough to warrant reroutes, though.
