@eighteen :
I always find it amusing when something happens very near a "nice" area and people care more about trying to distance themselves from it than giving a damn about the horrible thing that happened.

According to Grizzy, the toddler belonged to the 17 year old. The suspect also tried to harm the grandma. The poor toddler saw their mom get killed.

@Catmae :
Not really related to this. Just when eighteen said see crime happens everywhere it reminded me of this story from a few days ago in Oakhurst where a guy killed his brother. The entire comment sections were just people arguing about how that was definitely NOT Kingwood (even though the literal name of the neighborhood is Oakhurst at Kingwood.) I get that it might technically be Porter but it is a very nice neighborhood, and also very close to "real" Kingwood. Oh and just for an added layer of fun, the street name was Kenswick something, which caused a whole different kind of argument. 😂

I love how I came across comments pertaining to the Deerbrook shooting, of mainly Hispanics saying, "usual suspects". I didn't see any of those comments for this shooting. However, the comment section pertaining to the Houston LEO involved shooting had a bunch of nasty comments from White people. People need to get a grip.
