I've completely given up and accepted that we're living in some kind of simulation. There's no way any of this **** is real. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Why do people only go out and protest when there's a rich organization funding it and providing them with signs, materials, and transport? In Europe even a minor complaint leads to hundreds of thousands of people taking to the streets.

Anurania : We'll have to see how this plays out. It's only day 1. Give people time to get organized, LOL. "No Kings" protests have been happening multiple times a year.

This country is going to hell in a hand basket and it started long before Trump.

Luckysis : Well, I don't know about the first term; definitely the 2nd.

eighteen : I wasn't trying to be. Positive, yes. We still have all of our other media options. I would be worried if they were all band completely. Having this option that allows us to watch any event/meeting without it getting cut off or not shown at all. I'm all for that. We still have the freedom of choosing what we want to watch.

This is a straight up authoritarian move. To go alone with other such steps he's taken. I could be wrong. But my guess is if Obama had done similar, you'd be quite upset.

rocket1 : If he did, I would have be happy to see everything going on that we wouldn't as much on regular tv. I think this should be a thing for every president. Media can't cover everything the presidents do 24/7. This is a great option for every American.

Or at least being openly attempted. I frankly don't know why others can't see it? But then again, perhaps they want it. If they do, they'd do well to understand that their guy won't be in office forever. So, what they turn a blind eye to today, will be the nightmare they'll see clearly tomorrow.
