@busymommy, People are upset about all kinds of issues. Some emotional, some safety related etc. It's interesting to hear all the people's opinions

@BusyMommy I have read on fb that they bought in ES and thought their kids would go to ES schools. The new school sounds very nice. It will still be in Humbe ISD. But the other concern is which high school will it feed? The new one planned by Lakeshore? They want their kids to go to AHS.

I think it is the unknown that has people upset.

I think the bottom line for some people here is that Eagle Springs kids should stay in Eagle Springs and be shuffled between the two schools as needed....and that kids being bussed in from other neighborhoods should go to the new school.

@TexanFan1 Why? The school is huge and from what I hear, not that great. I would rather go to the new school.

So they are going with the "we are better than they are" argument? Nice. Who is being bussed into ES to go to elementary school?

@BusyMommy I don't know. I don't have any little ones any more. Clayton's Corner attends ASE.

@BusyMommy I'm just glad I'm not on the school board. What a mess.

The more I think about it, the more upset I get. My son may not get to go to midddle and high school with the kids he's been buddies with and playing sports with etc.

@HumbleGirl That happens a lot when you live in a high growth area with new schools opening every few years. PFE is split between two middle schools, so those kids spend 6 years together and then go off to middle school without their whole class. It has been like that for years.

13 out of 22 sections in ES will go to a school outside ES. According to someone in the community page anyway.

@HumbleGirl Would they rather go to overcrowded schools?
