I used to live in that neighborhood and taught at timber's elementary for 10 years. It used to be a wonderful place to live and the school was great. What has happened to our neighborhoods? What happened to parenting and discipline? Why are kids walking around with guns and tasers? By allowing all these guns in our society did the powers really think that it wouldn't get down to children having guns also. There sure seems to be plenty to go around. We are really becoming the wild wild West. And what happened to discipline? Why is every time somebody gets angry they have to pull out a gun and kill someone. I remember when the boys used to handle their differences by just getting down to a fist fight and getting it over with. Even the girls can't control their temper anymore. I swear I would never raise a kid in this day and age.

Will Clayton Pkwy near Lago Forest Dr - caller advised a group of juveniles are causing a disturbance in the street, after their friend (who ran from the cops) was arrested on Gypsy Forest Dr. Multiple deputies are en route.

@Sammee : Seriously that has nothing to do with it.

Timber Forest Dr and Valley Lodge Pkwy - caller advised her intoxicated husband pushed her out of the vehicle and is chasing her with a crowbar. Deputies are en route (and are familiar with this family).

@Cocoabean : Omg . It's bad enough when the cops have to come to your home for domestic violence but now they're doing it out in the street

@Sammee : There are many reasons people don't purchase homes. Finances are only one of them. Finances are what usually drives people to crime. Unless you think it goes hand in hand with something else, it is pretty hard to rent an apartment for under $1200 here in Atascocita or anywhere down here that is worth a salt. We have a complete breakdown in authority in this Country and nobody is any longer following the letter of the law. As long as kids see adults getting away with any garbage they will follow suit. It doesn't have to do with where they are raised or how, but more by whom. I know so many great kids that grew up in apartments, some are my own and their friends. My (great kid) nephews have never bought homes but have kept the same jobs for over 20 years. They were raised in single family homes. Both have told me they aren't sure where they want to settle yet. They are in a 3 state area. We never bought because after we married we went to Cincinnati and although I hated the town and didn't want to live there permanently, I was afraid to pull the trigger and buy because of the early 90's Housing market and rates. I did not want to be stick trying to sell a house that wouldn't sell when the time came to leave too.

About last night:
W lake Houston Pkwy near Aerboic Ave - caller advised her husband isn't letting her go to bed. Deputies were dispatched. (10:30pm)

We had to have something for today. I'm late with this one Atascocita Rd near Eagle Springs Pkwy - caller advised they found a lost 3-4 year old black male, he was almost walking on the main road. The caller is waiting with the child until deputies arrive.
