Wellâ€¦I made it and it was okay. I wouldn't make it again. The frosting tasted just like German Chocolate frosting and the cake part was okay. Didn't really have a taste and I really couldn't taste the pineapple in it. I'm gladâ€¦I made it because now I know. It was definitely easy to make. I do love German Chocolate cake.

@West-Tex: What are the measurements on the frosting ingredients? The recipe that is here doesn't say.

I do love me some German Chocolate Cake icing. Whenever I made it (for DH), I doubled the frosting recipe. The cake would be loaded with icing, plus I would have left-over icing to eat straight out of the dish ....

@West-Tex: Thanks so much! I've had a can of crushed pineapple in my pantry for a while and this sounds like a perfectly yummy excuse to open that up!
