Accident last night

The people driving behind my brother inlaw and his brother said the machine was backing out and had no light and no one to to tell them to slow down or warn them it was coming out ....both the other person and them were driving the speed limit and it was to dark to see the machine and when they did slowing down was not going to help . The people driving behind them are thankful for my brother inlaw and his brother to have pressed the brakes when they did inorder foe them to slow down to if not it would have been 2 cars not just 1.

@Clari : I hope they make a full recovery. I suspect this is the reason for the delay of the upcoming closure?

@eighteen : thank you we hope so to .. a little girl who just turned 3 two days before the accident still needs her dad . My sister her mom is saying strong for them

That bucket and arm is solid steel. That would do a lot of damage even if the car was not moving. Hope the Driver and anyone else hurt pulls thru and makes a full recovery. The construction has made a dangerous road even more dangerous. Will be glad when this stuff is over.

that car looks worse than it did after the accident because the jaws of life had been used and the roof peeled back to extract the passengers, you can see it still lying on the ground next to the car.

@ginx : when the 911 call was made they only said there was 1 person ( the driver ) ,it was not until they got closer and saw that my brother inlaw was covered under all that. He had a bright colored fabric sticking out from his clothing and that's what made his presence known.

@chasinghosts : I think once done it will be okay. Going 1960 at 45 and beyond isn't that bad. It will just take time and roll slow. That being said, I am not looking forward to coming home tomorrow.
