Atascocita Hit-and-Run Driver Arrested for DWI
On April 11, 2026, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a crash in the 5100 block of Atascocita Road. Investigators determined a driver struck three vehicles while leaving a business and fled the scene. Deputies later located the driver, identified as Victoria Bean, who showed multiple signs of intoxication. After conducting Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, deputies determined she was intoxicated. Bean was transported back to the scene, where two witnesses positively identified her as the driver involved. Further investigation revealed she has a prior conviction for Driving While Intoxicated. Victoria Bean was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Failure to Stop and Give Information and Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense. Her total bond was set at $300 out of County Court 11, according to Constable Mark Herman.

Big deal $300 bond. So she has to pay $30. Oh yeah that's really going to teach her a lesson. A hit and run and that's all the bond she gets . Insert eye roll.

She looks like a 'happy drunk' .... Too bad she can't drive worth a fig.

Maybe she's having trouble paying rent so she's happy to be in jail. Three hots and a cot and all of that. lol. #msg2173303
Texas all but legalized drunk driving when the legislature lowered the offense to a misdemeanor and created the tree strike rule. The 10% recommendation is usually for large bail requirements. On smaller ones the judge usually requires the full bond, though I doubt the 300 will get her to her court date….
