Felony Suspect Arrested After Atascocita Stop 
On April 14, 2026, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop near the 7500 block of FM 1960 Rd E.
During the stop, the driver, identified as Alan Detrick, was found to be out on bond for a felony drug possession charge. A subsequent investigation revealed he was in possession of approximately 6 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Alan Detrick was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is awaiting bond out of the 178th District Court, according to Constable Mark Herman.
