Atascocita Altercation Over Tree Limbs Leads to Arrest
On November 20, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance on the 6200 block of Kristen Park Lane.
A verbal disagreement between neighbors over tree limbs escalated when Martin Okonzak retrieved a handgun from his home and pointed it at the other party.
Deputies secured the scene, detained Okonzak, and recovered the weapon safely. Okonzak was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and is awaiting bond.
