Loading Image...

From the Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management

After registering for assistance, be aware of how to verify you are speaking with a representative from FEMA.

If you receive a call from someone saying they are a FEMA representative, but you aren’t sure, call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 to verify the caller’s identity.

I found this on Facebook. It's not my post but maybe it will help:

I called the Dan Crenshaw office this morning and I'll speak for all of us regarding the $750 dollars FEMA Assistance.. And his assistant said. For people are getting denied, they should go to Crenshaw.house.gov and click help with federal agency or Call his office at 713-860-1330 and they might be able you resolved the issue because they do have contact with FEMA... Honestly iam a one voice iam trying help others and start with my Neighborhood first and you'll should call Also and Dont take No for answer, get to the bottom of it and see what's going on. All of the Fema money's are is tax payers, people like you and I.. And in this difficult time people not should be begging the government for help..Some old folks dont have smart phone and they dont know how to apply online.. We talk about $750 dollars just cover the people bases and they're having hard time to give it... I called the Governor Abbott office on Monday and talk to them and my next call will be to Senator cruz and Mayor of Houston office... No one ask to be in this situation, hurricane is out of our control and is unfortunate..If this big guys are Representative us do wants people votes , they have to show with actions what they can do for all of at this time...Sadly they will throw this hurricane situation at each others and people did get hurt by it will be left out ...So start with calling Dan Crenshaw office first and hope you'll will get a help all of you deserve. 🙏❤️

Considering Crenshaw, Cruz and Abbott are all hard core Republicans, I find some irony in this post digging so hard for government assistance.....
