@sandman : My wife watches 3 different TVs, and only one is a newer wifi enabled TV. How would we cut the cable in this situation?

@Enzo : you will need to add a device, like an Amazon Fire Stick or Roku or an Apple TV. I only have experience with the Fire Stick. So, the device is connected to the WiFi and into one of the TV inputs (i.e. an HDMI input, hopefully your TVs have them)

@Vinbert : That's my issue. I'm the TV watcher in the house. I am looking at keeping my channels and DVR. The rest of the family are streamers and gamers. I will weigh it all and decide. If fiber is better at not dropping out like Xfinity, and it costs the same or less, I'll give it a try.

@Jerijay78 : So, from what I hear from people who have it, it's rock steady. I can tell you that for gig service, with no data caps (ever) it's 90 bucks a month. And if you have gamers and streamers in the house, you're probably already bumping up against Comcast's cap. If you use the apps on the Xfinity box, that counts against your data as well. I pay extra to Comcast for unlimited, because I was tired of having to monitor it continually.
Tachus is worth it to me for the stability, and for the fact that I never have to worry about "running out of internet" With the money I pay Comcast for unlimited data, it's comparable.

@sandman : @Enzo : I love the Firesticks. Heck, I bought a few extra during Prime Days, just to have them in case lol.
Now, here's the question... can I plug a Firestick directly into my outside projector?

@Vinbert : Yes, you should assuming the projector has an HDMI port. If not, there are adaptors but I don't know if it would work over that.

@sandman : yeah, it's got hdmi. From what I understand though, some of the apps can be proprietary about streaming and it can't be done. Maybe it's just when you're connected via BT.

wasn't their a rep with tachus on here? I`m just wondering about the coming soon sign for the oaks but no movement. Heck, everyone around the oaks has access. I`ve herd a rumor about a grandfathered clause allowing comcast and bell
sole access? ATT responded same when I asked a family member employee who said they never told me that.

@Reese : ya, I got another door hanger today. I currently have xfinity unlimited and get 800 to 1000 download and it`s fine for my homeschool kids.

They were too lazy to walk up to the mountain that is our driveway and left it hanging on our tree closest to the road.😤
