MUD 152 news

MUD 152 is excited to announce that our community's new ground storage tank will enter service within the week! It's passed leak and bacterial testing. This is a tremendous improvement to the infrastructure of our district that will serve this community for the next 40 years.

Note: You MAY experience some brown water which reflects additional minerals in the water once the tank is turned back on. This is caused by changing the direction of the water flow through the system.

Just run your water for a few minutes to let the minerals run through. In the rare event the brown water lasts longer than 10 minutes, please call Inframark (281-579-4500) to assist with flushing.

I know I'll be watching for the brown water

@ginx : I never could remember which one we were in. The while MUD thing threw me for a loop. We don't have those in Louisiana

@ginx : I know Pinehurst and the Shores neighborhoods are in MUD 152. Who do you pay your water bill to?

I was talking to a lady at the park one afternoon. She was having problems with her water bill, so I kind of kept an eye on her toddler while she managed that over the phone.

I asked if she was COH or MUD, and she named some other water district, but lives in the area. The way she was screaming at those people over the phone about leaking water on their end and outrageous fees on hers, it sounded like COH. I wish I could remember now who it was.

Then the little boy tried to leave with us, LMAO. I'm glad I turned around when I did. He was following us out to the parking lot.

@cousindan : yeah, I have a friend in Friendswood who mentioned it and then our realtor started talking about it. I was like, what IS that? And, of course, I think I chose a neighborhood with one of the higher MUD taxes. It was in the groves. I don't remember the tax rate, but I know it was more expensive than balmoral's MUD. We looked at several houses in Balmoral but fell in love with the groves and our house. Kind of miss that house sometimes.
