Main Event Coming to Humble?

It'll be built near the Costco on Townsen Blvd.

Main Event Entertainment is a top destination for people ready to play! Its unique Eat.Bowl.Play. experience features state-of-the-art bowling, multi-level laser tag, high ropes adventure courses, billiards and interactive and virtual video games, with dining experiences ranging from fast-casual to chef-inspired casual and creative cocktails, beer and wine.

Details are at a minimum right now being this early in the process, but it should be finished within the next year according to those close to the project.

I have been bugging Main Event since February for an announcement on this. I thought maybe they were not 100% sold on the location yet, because they've been stingy with the info. Emoticon

So they could possibly be building on that land near Costco? That article was just posted a few days ago.

Man, that'd be awesome! And good news for parents struggling to find nearby, decent places to have bday parties. Emoticon

Agreed! I was excited about it when the Costco Manager let the news slip during an interview I did with him.

I'll give my contact a call today and see if they have anything new on it.

Way to be patient! Emoticon

They still won't give up the goods on it. I believe some companies think they'll jinx themselves by releasing info too early. All the PIO did is confirm they're coming to the Costco/Townsen area...And that's about it. Emoticon

It's a great place for youth groups/childrens groups to go & play. Ever since Montasia left KW we need a place around here like this.

I wish they would put a Top Golf over there. That place is so fun but I get sick of driving to Spring to go to it.

How does this jive with the 2000 sq ft quoted in the article? They say their facilities are usually between 48,000-75,000 sq ft

I know the manager of the new Main Event, I will see if I can get some info. As far as Max Bowl goes, if they would fix the A/C and maybe hire a few more people with a brain that wuld help.
