@West-Tex : She was such a beautiful young girl. The bar shouldn't have a suspension it should be permanently closed ASAP. I'm sure those were not the first underage kids that were served. Such a tragedy and no she could not consent she was too intoxicated. Young girls should understand they need to go at least in pairs or groups out to bars. They shouldn't have to they should be able to go alone but there's too many predators out there. May she rest in peace

@Maxsmom : Reggie's has served underage kids for YEARS. It was known as THE place for the underaged drinkers to go. As to friends, it was at one point reported that she asked these thugs to bring her home because she knew that she was too drunk to drive and could not find her friends. My first thought was that her friends are jerks. But, I then realized that there could be an alternative explanation as to why the friends were MIA. It could be that they asked her to stop drinking, she refused, and they left. It could be that they told her that they were leaving and she wasn't ready and stayed behind. Who knows? All I know is that she was drunk, friends weren't around, and Reggie's is a dump. They sell to underage drinkers because that's the only way that they could make money because no one else would go there.

@RajunCajun : Oh wow. If everyone knew about Reggie's for years then the cops knew for years. They should have shut it down years ago. They served all of these people and now she's dead and there is boys are arrested as they should be. But they can sue and her family can sue Reggies for giving alcohol to underage kids and I hope they all do

Drunk teenagers turn that dumb up an order of magnitude.Horrible tragedy. Sad for all involved. Nobody, male or female should not be going out without buddy system.Had a coworker business lead get slipped a Mickie recently in New Orleans.

@redneckroy : I saw where slipping stuff into drinks has escalated nationwide. One group un boston started handing out hair scrunchies that convert to drink covers as a response to recent drink poisoning going on there. Very smart idea. Covered drinks should become the norm. Someone could still slip something into a covered drink but it would be much more difficult.
