Alright, y'all. Made this tonight. Here's a pic: Review: Whoever mentioned fish sticks, yep. A giant frozen fish stick. 🤣 I mean, it was edible, only if doused in my homemade tartar sauce (which you could eat with a spoon!). The crust was weird and hard (almost "stale" tasting out of the oven)...not crispy at all. More weird crust than cod by far. One kid liked the fish. The only saving grace was my oven roasted crispy spicy green beans (made 2 lbs!) and the side salad. In short... tastes NOTHING like in the Luby's cafeteria. Don't waste your money, imo (they're not cheap).Oh, well...I tried (against my better judgment with frozen foods)! Fail lol Back to homemade! 😃#onefortheteam

@brightlights : We liked the Luby's fish. We had crispy buns with jalapeño slaw and onion rings. Good quick meal.

@brightlights I said frozen fake fish.. do I get points??I knew immediately that they would be not up to your standards. I'm not a cod fan at all.. growing up on the ocean with a family of bay and deep sea fishermen spoiled me. Cod, tilapia, halibut are trash fish to me. There is nothing like the taste of a fresh caught blackened red snapper or fried speckled trout. Now.. gimme that green bean recipe

@DaycareMom : No. 🤣Halibut is a garbage fish? I love grilled halibut! Costco had a big bag of halibut filets last year that was like $220!

@brightlights : Omg woman!! Ok here's the deal.. you got me off drinking nasty old beer, now I have to get you off eating cod and halibut, especially frozen!🤣🤣

@DaycareMom : The cod and frozen was 👏 only 👏 last 👏 night 👏! But I don't mind fresh atlantic cod beer battered in a fish taco.Tread lightly... I'm newish to liking most fish at all. Unless it's Chilean sea bass, but apparently you're an ****** if you eat that now. My fish is raw ahi tuna. All day long! I'm okay with dying of mercury poisoning. 🤣

@brightlights : ok now you're speaking my language! My fave of all time!If you didn't know, Outback Steakhouse had some pretty damn good, melt in your mouth ahi tuna on their appetizer menu.

@DaycareMom : Eh. It's okay. My DD always gets that when we go. If I want seared on a salad, I like to make it myself with a spicy ginger soy viniagrette...Have I redeemed myself? 😃
