Good thing you caught it....I learned that lesson well last year when a friggin' "cut-worm" basically destroyed all my veggie plants....Moral of the story is to seriously inspect the entirety of your plants for large pests if you see serious issues taking place....Big Bites=Big Bugs....

@EddyFree : cut worms are in the soil. when planting veggies you can use a small paper with the bottom cut out. put if over the plants and the cut worm cant climb or if it is snails and you can use snail bait that is safe for veggies. you can call warrens nursery and they can tell what to use.
