@RajunCajun : It never was. It's always had one of the highest effective tax rates. It has nearly the highest effective rate for middle class because the massive money at the top slips out of paying.

@ParksideRes : Seems backs in the '80's and 90's that it was quite the tax heaven state.

Tax Haven for the wealthy and corporations. Still was taxed heavy on middle class compared to elsewhere.
They advertise the no income tax, but it's just smoke and mirrors.
