@sandman
according to my weather app, and the flood warnings on it, it is cresting now and expected to have a slow fall this afternoon.
that can change with more rain of course.

Water levels are falling. This is the marina in the Shores today, Saturday. I'm going to try to upload a panoramic pic, hope it works.

@HumbleGirl
I saw footage on the news of a lot of water being let out of Lake Houston. Water was flowing over the spillway and they also opened one of the gates. It's unfortunate for those down the river.

Duessen still looks very flooded. There are no docks.

We drove by there the other day and couldn't believe the docks were under water. Nice for it to be so full.

The lake is full of tree limbs, too.
We also saw a deer on Atascocita Shores Dr. today at noon. She was coming out of a little wooded patch.

Yeah I don't think I'd put the boat in, pretty much guaranteed to hit something. Shame to waste a pretty day though.

I saw people out on boats and one jet ski rider on Wednesday. It was full of limbs then, too. Crazy people.
