People were out today. It is going down but a ton of debris in the water. I saw coast guard flying over the lake not sure how normal that is.

@Sammee I saw people out today, and my little one, who knows nothing about boats asks, "how do they know where the trees are that are just covered a little bit?" Wasn't sure how to respond.

@BusyMommy Your child has more common sense than all of the adults out there today. That's one smart cookie.As my uncle (who doesn't have a filter on his mouth) told my DD when she questioned why some adults were being very irresponsible allowing their toddlers to play very close to rushing flood waters of the Mississippi, "There are a lot of ignorant morons in the world. Stupid, stupid people. Not everybody uses the common sense that God gave them. When you figure out who the morons are, stay away from them." She was giggling because he said ignorant morons and stupid...we don't speak like that...but it was accurate and funny! We all have that one filterless family member though.
