@Amanda79 : I was so fortunate to have our children 1 in 1968 & the second in 1973 . I don't recall having anything weird or strange to worry about when buying toys . This kind of stuff is unbelievable to me . I would have never dreamed perhaps I needed to read the box . With my kids & grand kids at young ages I just made sure I thought the toy wasn't going to have something break off that they could swallow . I don't see how parents today can sleep at night . I'd be plum damn nuts !

I think that a lot of us are shocked because we are just learning that such a toy exists. But, I read the article that accompanied this post and it stated that the manufacturer marketed this toy as anatomically correct dolls that presented a "surprise" with each box purchased. While the child may or may not know what they are getting, what about the parents who purchased them? Are parents just going to toy stores now picking up any and everything to keep their kids entertained? And, if these toys have been around since 2017, why the big fuss now? Is it because they are running out of things to complain about during this time of COVID-19, protests, Karen/Ken rants, Lysol shortages, etc.?
