Huffman Commons flooded

@Catmae : The East fork had record flows during Harvey too. That area would have flooded even if the west fork was non existent. The commons flooded at an elevation above the lake level at its peak. That's the East Fork. Hydrology.

@Catmae : No, it doesn't. Only as far as the actual lake level rises. A wave of water does not backflow up the East Fork.

Same as a wave of water didn't go up the West Fork this time because of the East Fork.

@Catmae :
Harvey put Lake Houston at 53.1 feet above sea level. The Commons is all 60 or more feet above sea level. The water from the West Fork did not "bore" up the East Fork. The East Fork and Live Bayou were all inundated themselves to the point of flooding those areas they traverse.
