@Maxsmom : I'm wondering what he did that warranted firing. I don't want someone's middle schooler's overly dramatic account. Full unedited video proof viewed by an uninvolved, non-emotional third-party is what I think is warranted in a case like this.

@eighteen : No. I'd like to, so I can make my own decision. I've read all of the freak out posts from the parents and we all know how middle school kids are. I also know that there are plenty of adults who have hair-triggers and act like jerks. Who are the jerks, the kids, the driver or the parents...or all of them? I'm nosey and need answers, ******! Lol

@Maxsmom : Fairness and inclusion for all, right? Since the bus driver was fired, the parents need to be cited. Everyone should be held accountable for their actions, including the kids who instigated this nonsense. Imagine if that girl had respected authority the first time she was told to stop....

@Sammee : Apparently he put his hands on whichever adult boarded the bus, do not if offensively or defensively. Busses have cameras, so I'm sure they've viewed every angle of video.

@eighteen : I would want my kid's bus driver to take whatever action is necessary to force off random adults trying to board the bus, though. I'm pretty sure 100% of parents would. Anybody can say they're a parent. What if it's a non-custodial parent attempting to kidnap? The driver's job is to keep the kids safe. Letting on random irate adults who trapped the bus on the roadway in order to force their way onboard is the opposite of that. That alone is not a valid reason to fire him. Again, I'm nosey. I admit it. I have no dog in this fight, other than a kid in the district.

Just my feelings… The young girl will become a hero at school. The rest of the kids will be envious of her. The parents will be the lauded for their tremendous support of their children which were certain to be led to a kidnapping enterprise . They will try to fire the bus driver and he says are you kidding me? I'm feeling that no job is worth this.

@SnoopSister : Supposedly the bus driver did get fired. It'll be ridiculous if that's the only infraction from this entire incident.Kingwood will forever be known as the part of the district no one wants to work in, and then they'll ***** more. These kids on this particular bus will have a greater sense of entitlement; and, if no other infractions were given, I suspect the word lawsuit was thrown around.

@eighteen : I hope the bus driver files a lawsuit. The school district did NOT act in the best interest of their employee or the passengers.

Lol, concerned parents should not board the bus. If I had a child on that bus I am concerned about I am boarding that bus.

@eighteen : I have news for you. I have worked for Humble ISD for 28 yrs. (now retired) and it was always known that you were better off working on the south side of the river. I heard the parents in Kingwood were helicopter parents that were in the teacher's face about everything. Not all parents, but enough to give Kingwood a reputation.

@AMCLady : Yep, I've heard the same. Any time I ask a Kingwood teacher how is it over there they either give me a look like this 😳; or say, "It's not that bad, but I live in Kingwood." Then I give a look like this 😏
