An Atascocita man has been arrested for crashing his vehicle into some teens who rang the doorbell at his house and drove away.
On August 11, 2017, a deputy with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 18000 block of Timber Forest Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash.
Constable Investigators learned that the defendant, Said Herrera, received a telephone call from his wife informing him that unknown persons rang their doorbell twice and fled the location in a black vehicle.
While driving to his house to check on his wife, Said Herrera located the vehicle and deliberately crashed his van into it and assaulted the teen occupants. Constable Deputies contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office at which time charges for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon were accepted for Herrera for crashing his vehicle into the teens.
“Said Herrera was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond is set at $30,000.00 out of the 338th District Court.†– Constable Mark Herman
