Wow! Ken did some work on my arm a few years ago. I hope he fully recovers.

@MrsT : Keep on the Da and don't let them make some crappy deal. My son did the same thing except was hooked on meth. He hurt the man he hit real bad by Kingwood hospital. he got 10 aggravated for doing bodily injury and let me say I just saw another of his parole chances get denied again. Told him to settle in and get used to doing time.

@walkchalk1 : Most parents aren't pushing for their kids to suffer consequences. I think it's a good thing, so many parents don't realize the damage they're doing by telling their kids they're never wrong.
My ex was always a loser to his mom until he was actually in trouble then she was bending over backwards to get him out of trouble. He's done a lot of awful things but has barely received any time for any of them. There was a man killed by a girl I went to hs with after she left a work party drunk. I know some people on here knew the man. She did like 6 months tops? Ridiculous.

@MrsT : ya. I love my son. miss him Put money on his books and visit when he`s close. He`ll probably live with me when he gets out. He usually leaves when I dont let him come home wasted. I got a 10 yr old and have to set an example for him. Right and wrong. Acceptable and not. He`s a trusty on a unit, Has a good job. Is taken care of and clean and sober. Hope it sticks this time. I already told him I`m tired of going to prison with him, and stop hurting folks for no damn good reason.

Poor guy! Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. That truck looks like it was his baby. Drunk drivers need first offense penalties that are so bad that it forces them to make the right choice. How many decades of preventable deaths does it take for them to realize the current system isn't working??
