High-Speed Motorcycle Chase Ends Dramatically in Houston
From The Humble Police Department
50+ Mile Pursuit to Sugar Land & End In Houston
At approximately 10:40pm our Night Shift B K-9 Officer observed a motorcycle disregard/run a red light at Will Clayton Pkwy and Wilson Rd.
When the Officer attempted to stop the vehicle, which also did not have a license plate, the drive flipped off the Officer, made another distasteful hand gestures that we won’t mention and began to evade.
A 50 mile plus pursuit followed. We would like to give special thanks to HPD for providing air support and maintaining visual on the suspect throughout the pursuit.
The pursuit came to an end in the area of 9800-BLK Beechnut St when the suspect attempted to split lanes through traffic but failed to slow down enough to avoid striking the side of a stopped vehicle.
The driver was not seriously injured and was already calling his family as officers arrived to take him into custody.
He is now facing Felony Evading and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon.
