Happy New Year's Eve last day of 2021
Good morning friends! Happy New Year's Eve. It's hard to believe another year has come and gone. Wishing everyone a safe New Year's Eve and a wonderful 2022! Blessings to you all!

@Weathergirl5 : Yeah, the kid already seems to be much better, and the hubs is better, but still sick. It's pretty much moved to his chest at this point. I just don't know what's going to happen vis a vis work. I don't know if they're going to require me to have a negative test before I return.

So sorry. This stuff is crazy. We have several neighbors who have it and a family member who has it. Family member and one neighbor fully vaccinated. Don't know about the others.

@RajunCajun : We are all vaxxed, and my husband and I are both boosted. The kid wasn't eligible yet, hadn't been 6 months. And we actually know where he got it. One of his managers is unvaxxed, and has it. It's the only place he's been to be in contact with someone who has it. Omicron is supposed to be much more contagious, but on the other hand, it's not as severe as the other variants. But, who knows what it will do to us down the road. I've got long Covid effects from having it long ago.

@Weathergirl5 : Highly unlikely. The earliest I've been able to pull up from public testing is Thursday. However, I should have access to staff testing on Tuesday. My manager says that HR will likely ask me questions Monday morning (because all staff is off today) and that I will probably be required to either work from home, or take PTO until I can produce a negative test.

@Vinbert : So sorry. Make them stay in their rooms and wear gloves for anything the touch that you have to. Hope they both feel better soon.

@Vinbert : Hopefully they will let you work from home and you won't have to use your PTO. If you are able to do your job from home they should allow you to.
