: SUSPECT IN CUSTODY! Deputy Aspras with Constable Mark Herman's Special Operations Unit has an adult male in custody following a traffic stop in the 18800 block of Timber Way Drive. The male was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. Great job SOU!

@Blackhorse77 : How was this close up photo obtained?

For possession? Was it with intent to distribute? Looks like an outstanding young man with a bright future... NOT!

@walkchalk : i am so sorry that you are having to go through this. my son in law goes to huntsville at least once or twice a month to minister to the prisoners . he is a minister at his church and is in charge of the recovery group there. i pray every day for the man who killed my son. he only got 5 years for killing him. then after his release he still went back to his criminal life. he then went to california. i pray that he will straighten up. i forgave him years ago. if he commits a crime here in texas the justice system will notify me and then i can be called to testify against him. i will keep your son in my prayers. i have heard that some prisoners that have watched the chosen while in jail have a change in their lives from watching it.

@eksda : Im in a SS class that is watching the chosen and discuss it. really enjoying it. Ya he was at a transfer facility when he first went. It was called the Holliday in Huntsville unit as funny as that sounds. Then He became a more permanent fixture there and now goes straight to a ID unit. As long as he doesnt get in trouble he goes straight back to his trustee position and job outside the unit. He`s actually been able to get a degree inside and several certificates ( fork lift ect...) not his choice for a lifestyle I guess. He says hes tired of it and this is the last time but depending on what the DA gets ( Montgomery County, Not Harris Co. Hard stance on crime) 10 to 25 yrs. I probably wont be around with my medical conditions. Every day I wake is a blessing ! thanks for the well wishes and prayer. Same back at ya !

So sorry. I can't imagine what you've been through. And you seem like the very nicest of people.

@eksda : I didn't hear about your son before and am so very sorry that it happened. Nobody should have to bury their child, especially from something that could have been prevented. I pray along side you for that man to straighten out his life.

Cbear : thanks. we had high hopes the first time, and thought surely the second time that he spent 3 yrs on a 5 yr sentence for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle after mowing a man down by the Kw hospital after being released after a overdose on meth. BUT no. took 3 DWI`s on bond and having to put a device on his car didn`t stop him till he turned himself in to now be charged as a Habitual offender and likely to not get out in my life time?? I tried but the rules were to strict under our roof and he`s a 26 yr old man. Still love him!!! Just the monthly expense for his commissary has gone up drastically in a year. Weird He acts and functions amazingly well in prison. Model prisoner, always makes the trustee quarters and job.... ect... finds god and stays clean???

@walkchalk : So sorry about your son. I hate to say this but at least you know where he's at and for the most part he's ok. Praying for you and him
