Cbear : thanks. we had high hopes the first time, and thought surely the second time that he spent 3 yrs on a 5 yr sentence for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle after mowing a man down by the Kw hospital after being released after a overdose on meth. BUT no. took 3 DWI`s on bond and having to put a device on his car didn`t stop him till he turned himself in to now be charged as a Habitual offender and likely to not get out in my life time?? I tried but the rules were to strict under our roof and he`s a 26 yr old man. Still love him!!! Just the monthly expense for his commissary has gone up drastically in a year. Weird He acts and functions amazingly well in prison. Model prisoner, always makes the trustee quarters and job.... ect... finds god and stays clean???
@walkchalk : I'm so sorry you're still going through this with him. Their peers are such a draw when they get out and Meth seems to be even harder to kick than Heroine from what I've seen. It's so sad that anyone would choose to go through this and yet so many do. What has to be really frightening is they have to support their habits so if they get thrown in jail they are truly lucky as those that don't will risk being killed over a catalytic converter or car theft.
