"The idea was born in 2012 after visiting the birth place of the gyro, Greece, on
the founders annual trip to their hometown village. Wondering why there were no decent gyros or souvlakia in California, we decided to form our own modern souvlaki/gyro house.

The three cousins Nick, Nick and Nick, returned home to open what else? "Nick the Greek," in February of 2014. @AtascocitaDotCom : I'll definitely give them a try. I love Greek food. I just hope they're finally finished with the 494 construction by then.

@Maxsmom : My DD loves Greek food .... I love their salad... that's about it. Never quite developed a taste for it. I do have to say, one time DH ordered Doordash from a Greek restaurant in the Humble/Kingwood area and I got some type of cabbage salad, which had shredded cabbage, green onions and feta cheese. That salad was sooooo gooood. I never found it again, so I don't even know what restaurant it came from.
