@brightlights : Off topic a little, but were you a Breaking Bad watcher? I started binge-watching it again this week and noticed a couple of ties to The Pitt.

@Catmae : I watched BB a couple of years ago. It kind of is...Bryan Cranston's daughter (Taylor Dearden...love her! I think it was either S2 or S3 of BB that she was on) played Mel on The Pitt. And then there's Skinny Pete! Some parallels, for sure.

@brightlights : YES!! I didn't realize all this until this week!

@brightlights : She was the girl in the gym talking about the plane crash. When I recognized her, I saw in the closing credits that she was listed as Taylor Cranston.

@Catmae : Does she go by Cranston? I always see Dearden. Anyway, she's neurodivergent. Good actor!

@brightlights : Dearden is her middle name and her mother's maiden name. From what I've read, she changed her professional name to Taylor Deardon early in her career, for a couple of reasons. She wanted to build an acting career based on her own merit and avoid any hint of nepotism. Also, she wanted to honor her mother by using Deardon.
