@justanirishgirl : The section we live in is allowed to have chickens but no roosters. There are quite a few of us here that have chickens.

@Andi7 : Sweet! How many do you have? My sister out in the country has a bunch of them, she always makes a big breakfast whenever we stay for the weekend. Nothing like fresh eggs from your own chickens.

@justanirishgirl : Hopefully, they are not like the people who lived near us in North Atascocita. They had that damn rooster and chickens and could care less about the neighborhood rules or the neighbors. Not like there was a neighborhood association to complain to there anyway. I never saw anyone from there, but they left me a notice when I first moved in about having my grass too high but left my neighbor across the street who never mowed his grass alone because he was dangerous. I had just moved in the day before when they left the note. I don't think they would have left it for the people that lived there before. I know the husband had a warrant because the police showed up to arrest him at our house (he was long gone by that time).

@mastiffrex : Wow...they got the address wrong I guess. Sorry that this happened to you.

@Cbear : They didn't show up during the day or evening time either. It was around 1 AM and they had this bright light shining in the house from their car. They woke me up knocking on the door and asking about the guy (it was like Israel Garcia). Anyway, I knew the name from the old mail we got there and told them it was the prior renters. My neighbors on the right and left were okay, but they moved about the time we did. Not a big fan of Atascocita North if you hadn't figured that out already

@Cbear : The coop is kinda far for them to see. We have a very large backyard so this works very well for us and our neighbors.
