@Vinbert : Not yet!! I have the PS 4 upstairs and my kid is using the Wii on that tv. I have been seriously thinking about bringing it down and buying the game and downloading it off the PS4 streaming service we pay monthly for. Are you playing it??? I have been interested in playing it and it has received a lot of press. I need very little in the way of temptation to get started, just someone else who played it to tell me it's great. I wasted days on Skyrim, the Diabolos, and Elder Scrolls

@mastiffrex : Yeah, I've got it. Souls, George RR Martin-- how could I not? lol. Lots of dying. So, there's that.

Promised myself I would not touch it.I buy games, play them one or two days and never touch them again.

@Vinbert : Never played Dark Souls how is Elden Ring? I know my wife is hoping I don't start playing it because if I do, I will play it all the time and take over the big screen tv the family normally uses.

@M1cha3lo0o : Yeah, I tend to OCD on them. I'm a completionist. I have to say, though, since the pandemic, the game that I enjoyed the most was an older one, Shadow of War. It is like a perfect blend of melee battles, and strategic commanding-- and their rivalry system-- the enemies remember you. If you have been defeated by one, it grows with you, and you have opportunities to vanquish them, and take them over to your side. Brilliantly done. Of course, the fact that it's based on Lord of the Rings doesn't hurt either. Everyone knows I'm a huge Tolkien geek lol

@mastiffrex : Tell her not to worry, she'll see a lot of this:and then you'll grouse off to do something you're good at, lol. Dark Souls is known for how hard it is. Elden Ring is pretty much a Dark Souls RPG. So, at least when you can't kill one thing, you can go off and pick some fruit or something

@Vinbert : LOL I played Shadow of War all the time during the Pandemic too when I was working from home!! I didn't finish though - did get to the part where I could get on top of the big trolloc things and ride them around killing orcs. Also cleared the ring where you have to beat all these orcs in this ring to beat the challenge. Went back to the office around that time and quit playing it.

@mastiffrex : Finished it, and also have the 2 DLC, but I've not really started them. The best part was I could pick a goal for the night, take over this, or that, and play an hour or so and get it done. Well, I say finished, but there's more to do. Always more to do, lol

@mastiffrex : One thing I'm finding very annoying is the method of leaving the game. First, you have to go into system and quit the game, and then, you have to load the title screen again, to quit it. Hate having to click so many things to log out.

@Vinbert : Just ordered it off amazon - will be here Saturday. I have a PS 4 and to download at the PS store was $20 more than buying the fame since it includes PS 4 and 5, it was that or wait until June for just the PS4 version which is the same as amazon in price

We have been playing Zelda Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch. I want to get Banjo Kazooie for NS too..That was one of my favorite games on Nintendo 64.

This was the first game I ever played .. I love this game lol.

@Cinderella : I love Mario Kart on the WII, we got the wheels for it and me, my wife, and my kid all race against each other at least a couple of times a month.

@mastiffrex : Yes! I used to play that game a lot and beat my Dad at it lol

@Cinderella : I have Zelda Breath of the Wild for Switch also. Only played it about four times though. I need a good cheat sheet, lol.
