They're $1.89 a large dozen at Kroger now. Full disclosure, I am not a fancy egg buyer.

@Sammee : Everything has gone up. Took my Yorkie to be groomed the other day. Price went from $65 to $91 !!!

There is a lady at the Lake Houston Farmers market today that sells farm eggs for cheap, we're going to be there today from 11-3. It's located at the Lake Houston Brewery.

I can't get over how everybody is jacking their prices at such a great amount. I mean maybe $5 but no we go to $30 maybe even $50. Sometimes even a hundred percent. It's out of control. I'm trying my best not to go for that. I just do without. People are just trying to squeeze out as much as they can Knowing they have you in a bind. Especially, The people who give services.

@MrsT : The eggs I bought were Walmart's Great Value brand lowest-end eggs, 18 count large. They are still $4.12 today.

@Sammee : yeah. I have a rescue terrier. Only paid 180 to the shelter. The fee paid for his shots, getting fixed and microchip. I do all of his grooming which is minimal

I had two dozen in the beach refrigerator and they were both way expired. I guess I need to use them if I buy at the now prices.

Aldi was $2.69 for a dozen. This was in Lake Jackson but usually all the stores are the same.
