DWI Suspect Assaults Deputies After Pursuit
Units from Montgomery County PCT 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy†Hayden’s Office arrested a female early Friday morning on suspicion of DWI, but not before she led Deputies on a vehicle pursuit, as well as fought with, spit on, and bit them.
Just after midnight on 10/29/2021, a PCT 4 DWI Unit spotted an SUV going over 90 mph on Loop 494 in New Caney. The Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver ignored his lights and sirens, and a pursuit ensued south towards Porter. The driver pulled the SUV into a fenced parking lot, but still attempted to elude Deputies before finally stopping.
The very belligerent female driver refused Deputies’ commands to exit the vehicle, and eventually had to be escorted from behind the wheel to a patrol car. Multiple times throughout the investigation, the female fought with Deputies and became increasingly hostile. During her transport, the female spit in a Sergeant’s face, and bit two other Deputies, one of which had to seek medical care for where her teeth punctured his skin.
The 36-year-old suspect, Viviann Acuna, from Houston, was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and booked in on multiple charges: Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, Resisting Arrest, DWI, Harassment of a Public Servant, and Assault on a Public Servant.
